LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF HANNAH HOOVLER
In the Name of the Benevolent Father of All: I, Hannah Hoovler,of the County of Knox and State of
Ohio, do make and publish this my last will and testament.
ITEM 1st. I direct my Executor hereinafter named out of my estate to pay all my debts and to erect a suitable monument over my grave.
ITEM 2nd. I give and devise to my husband John Hoovler two good beds and bedding, also the carpet now on the kitchen floor, the kitchen chairs,the cook and parlor stoves, the cooking utensils and dishes enough to furnish the table,end the kitchen table, it is also my desire that he be allowed the use of the black mare until after seeding next fall.
ITEM 3rd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Ella Pugh the carpet on the parlor floor and my new window curtains and blinds.
ITEM 4th. I give and bequeath to my son Jackson Taylor a chest that belonged to his father.
ITEM 5th. I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Alice Hoovler Fifty Dollars.
ITEM 6th. I give and devise to my Step Grand Daughter Ida Hardesty my new feather bed.
ITEM 7th. I give and bequeath to my brother B. F. Vian my Legge Bible.
ITEM 8th. I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Hoovler my weaving loom and all that belongs to it and my remaining feather bed.
ITEM 9th. It is my desire that my clothing and the remainder of my bedding be divided equally among my
children. I direct that the remainder of my personal property be sold and the proceeds
divided equally among my children.
ITEM 10th. I desire that my real estate being a farm containing 120 acres situated in Brown Tp., Knox Co., Ohio and being the farm left by my first husband Peter Taylor and purchased of my children by me, be by my Executor sold at either public or private sale as in his judgement may seem best,and the proceeds divided equally among my children share and share alike and I hereby authorize him to execute all necessary deed and conveyances for the same.
ITEM 11th. I hereby nominate and appoint W. W. Walkey Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I hereunto set my name and seal to this my last will and testament this 27th day of May, A. D. 1887.

Whereas I Hannah Hoovler, on the 27th day of May in the year 1887, made my last Will and Testament of that day, do hereby declare the following to be a codicil to the same.
I hereby revoke the bequest of Fifty Dollars to my grand-daughter Alice Hoovler in Item #5 of my will.

February, A. D. 1894.
